A concert of songs and arias, featuring: Ella Taylor soprano Bradley Wood répétiteur Frederick Jones tenor Juliane Gallant répétiteur The concert will start at 1.15pm, with doors opening at 1.00pm, and will last approximately 45 minutes.
Ella will be performing scenes from Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen and Massenet’s Cendrillon. The shadow of death permeates each scene, either directly, or through its ever-present threat. The performance will include well-known scenes from Janacek’s Cunning Little Vixen, Puccini’s La bohème, Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro as well as excerpts from such lesser-known operas as Gounod’s Sapho and Viktor Ullmann’s Der Kaiser von […]
Performing the soprano solos in Mozart’s great mass as well as in the Haydn Little Organ Mass with the Sheffield Oratorio Chorus and Skipton Camerata.
Join four of the 2019/20 Young Artists for a free lunchtime recital featuring arias and duets from some of Mozart’s best-loved operas. Tickets are free but must be booked via the English National Opera website.
Ella performs a selection of Franz Schubert songs with baritone Themba Mvula and Roderick Williams as part of the Momentum scheme. The pianists are Ella O’Neill and Ana Manastireanu. There are performances at 3pm and 7.30pm
